As a Certified Pesticide Applicator personal safety for myself and my employees is a main concern. I take safety very seriously. When working with pesticides, one of the most dangerous times is mixing.This is because you are dealing with a concentrate. Chemical resistant gloves ,safety goggles,long sleeve shirt , long pants, rubber boots and a respirator approved for chemicals are a must when mixing and applying. Things you should not wear are leather or cotton gloves. If you spill the gloves will absorb the chemical keeping it next to your skin. The same goes for tennis shoes or leather boots. I have see
